Picture processing programs, like e.g. Photoshop, are applied by a great amount of users - and they exhibit an according application variety.
Those, however, who are particularly anxious to optimize their digital photos, will need a lot of time and experience for that, given the compexity of such an application.
What is more, manipulative tools for the correction of color, lighting, etc., which are particularly adapted to the requirements of digital photography, are missing.
